👋🏿 Welcome Back!
Hello, members of the BMP Network; I hope the past month was a productive and successful one for you! With October out of the way, we look forward to a new month!
🎞 October Highlights
October marked Black History Month, and as such, we reflected and remembered some of the important black figures within Medicine!
We adapted our popular Medic of the Week posts to commemorate James Russell, Africanus Horton, Monica Lewin and Harold Moody!
We reviewed and reflected on the cases of Dr David Sellu and Bawa Garba!
We empowered members of the network in our Medic of the Week posts! Shout out to Nana and Rosemary!

SmartCards+ is an app I’ve been using on my iPad recently to put my ‘spaced repetition’ resolution into practice. I know everyone uses Anki/Quizlet, but I quite like this app too.

I wanted to recommend this documentary that UCL suggested we watch as part of our Global Health iBsc. It’s called ‘Fire in the Blood’, and it provides an insight into the exploitation within large pharmaceutical companies—a very informative watch.
